Hoka NAZ Elite’s Alice Wright among London Marathon Elites

As anticipated, Hoka NAZ Elite’s Alice Wright on Tuesday was named to the elite field for the 2024 London Marathon on April 21.

Wright, a Brit, no doubt will be hoping for a breakthrough race on the streets of London in hopes of securing the final spot on the Great Britain Olympic Marathon squad for the Paris Games.

Charlotte Purdue and Calli Hauger-Thackery already have been named to the team. In London, both Wright and fellow Brit Becky Briggs will try to make a case for securing the final Olympic spot. Wright’s PR is 2:29:08; Briggs 2:229:04.

Wright, who was injured earlier in the year, bounced back last week to win the Las Vegas Rock n Roll Half Marathon in 1:14:10 as part of her marathon build. BothWright and Briggs have run for Great Britain in the 2022 European Championships.
