With the AIA divisional meets looming next weekend, the four Flagstaff area high school distance squads competed this week in several “last chance” qualifiers down the mountain in hopes of posting times fast enough to make the cut.
Flagstaff and Coconino high qualified athletes will compete next Friday and Saturday, May 3-4, in divisionals. Flagstaff and Coconino will be at Deer Valley for Division III, while Northland Prep and Basis will be at Red Mountain High for Division V. The state meet is May 10-11 at Mesa Community College.

Tuesday, Seton Catholic Last Chance Meet:
Boys 800: Delani Hanson, Northland Prep, 7th, 2:03.03
