Three days after dominating their own home meet, the Four Corners Invitational, the Flagstaff High School girls and boys cross country teams traveled to Payson Tuesday afternoon for the Chuck Hardt Invitational.
The Eagles ended up being even more dominant in this meet.
The girls team scored a perfect 15 points — runners finishing one through five for scoring — and the boys placed five in the top nine.
Leading the way, as usual, were juniors Alex Bland and Taylor Biggambler, who now have back-to-back victories after both won at the Four Corners Invite. Biggambler, who covered 5K course in 19:23, led a pack of Flagstaff girls, who placed first through sixth, with another runners placing in the top 10.
Other Eagles girls in the top 10:
Olivia Baker, second, 19:47
Kylyn Taylor, third, 21:22
Naomi Ketter, fourth, 21:27
Rylan Swain, fifth, 21:33
Miley McQuivey, sixth, 21:41
Haley Johnson, 10th, 22:52.
The Eagles boys team easily won the team competition with 25 points, ahead of runner-up Blue Ridge with 52.
