On a relatively mild day Sunday down in the Valley, though perhaps a tad warm for mountain folks, Flagstaff’s Nicole Hanson seemed unfazed in the Dam Good Run 40K.
Hanson, who runs for the Aravaipa Racing Team, won the women’s 40K in 3:16:16. She last raced on the trails in December, winning the McDowell Mountain Frenzy 50 Miler. Flagstaff’s Laura finished second on Sunday in 3:58:48 and Flagstaff’s Dawn Greenwalt was fourth in 4:08:44.
In the 26K, Flagstaff’s Ruairi Moynhian easily won in 1:51:31, while Flag’s Lorin Wilson was third in 1:59:37.
